ABOUT
Aytek Cetin is a landscape photographer and photo tour leader based in Turkey. He is drawn to locations where light, scale, and atmosphere naturally come together in compelling ways. His photographic journey began in Turkey’s unique mountains and landscapes, and it has since expanded to include the towering peaks of the Nepal Himalayas and Pakistan’s Karakoram, the vast deserts of Iran, the dramatic terrain of Saudi Arabia, and the majestic Caucasus Mountains.
Approaching photography with an artistic vision, Aytek creates images that go beyond mere documentation. Each photograph is crafted with care, attention, and intention, aiming to capture the essence of a moment rather than just its appearance. Light, shadow, and atmosphere are central elements in this process, combining to form images that feel both expressive and timeless.
Aytek carefully selects his locations, drawn to places that offer both visual strength and a distinct sense of atmosphere. Rather than chasing obvious viewpoints, he looks for scenes that allow space for interpretation, depth, and a more personal visual response to the landscape.
In addition to his personal projects, Aytek enjoys sharing this experience with others, forging genuine connections with people curious about photography and the landscapes they explore.
His work reflects a sense of calm confidence and openness, inviting viewers to slow down, look more closely, and connect with the atmosphere of a place in their own way.
